Mari Franks, MPPA
Program Manager
Health Research & Educational Trust
Mari joins the Health Research & Educational Trust (HRET) as a Program Manager. She is responsible for project management, development and implementation of content and coaching strategies for the On the CUSP projects. She also provides general support to state hospital associations.
Mari brings five years of program management experience in health IT initiatives and education development, as well as experience in government-sponsored health IT projects.
She was a program manager at the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) where she developed education sessions and all-day symposia for the Annual Conference, and at the Metropolitan Chicago Healthcare Council (MCHC) she worked to develop the largest metropolitan health information exchange in the country.
Mari has a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College.
