Marchelle Djordjevic, MBA

Marchelle has over ten years of national program management experience working in the non-profit and academic setting including the American College of Surgeons (ACS), the American Pediatric Surgical Association (APSA), and the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). All of her programs have focused on measuring and evaluating surgical outcomes and identifying areas for patient care improvement. Prior to coming to HRET in December 2009, Marchelle was the program manager for the ACS National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (ACS NSQIP). Marchelle was responsible for hospital recruitment and retention, contracting, policy development, building and managing cross functional teams, editing and producing program publications, supervising client service staff, and managing operational and project budgets. She served as liaison to several committees including Policy, Measurement and Evaluation, and Business Finance. She was also an active participant in strategic planning leadership groups. Prior to managing the ACS NSQIP, Marchelle was a project coordinator for the American Pediatric Surgical Association where she managed federally funded national clinical outcomes studies. Marchelle was responsible for designing data collection systems, training field teams, managing data submission, and reporting data. Marchelle holds an MBA from Northern Illinois University.
