Program Manager
Health Research & Educational Trust
Louella implements operational project plans by working with the funder, national project team, states, hospitals, and units. She manages across multiple projects and oversees the work in order to execute and achieve the overall strategic initiative. Prior to joining HRET, she was a Program Officer at the American Medical Association Foundation where she did grantmaking and program development in the areas of health literacy as it relates to patient safety, medical education, and free clinics. Louella has a Bachelor’s in Biology Honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master’s in Public Health from Columbia University.
